Vegas Beyond the Strip...a brief history.
In 2017, visionary executive producers Patrick Barney and Susan "Sam" Shockley founded RainMaker Productions, LLC, embarking on a mission to bring the best of Las Vegas's talent to the forefront. Their goal? To focus on those performers who light up stages beyond the iconic Strip, including veterans of the Strip itself and key figures in the city's vibrant lounge scene.
In 2020, when the entertainment industry faced unprecedented challenges with the closure of all live performances due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Patrick and Sam decided to leverage their two decades of experience in broadcast television from the Washington DC area to focus on the NEXT generation of entertainment: the Vegas Beyond the Strip streaming TV channel and the opening of RainMaker Studios, a fully-equipped, state-of-the-art studio in Las Vegas boasting green screen technology and capabilities for both in-studio and remote location filming.
Today, RainMaker Productions not only produces its own original content for Vegas Beyond the Strip, but also offers services for client shows, commercials, and business promotions across various sectors.
Between 2017 and 2019, RainMaker Productions crafted and brought to life more a dozen live shows across the Las Vegas Valley. This included an array of headliner and large-scale Variety Shows that showcased a mix of renowned, seasoned entertainers alongside emerging artists who would soon gain widespread recognition.
Today, RainMaker Productions not only produces its own original content for Vegas Beyond the Strip, but also offers services for client shows, commercials, and business promotions across various sectors.
